LeanLens ("we", "us") is a calorie- and nutrition-tracking app for iOS. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what control you have over it.

What we collect

• Account data — your email address, used to create and sign in to your account.
• Food logs — meals you scan or enter, including photos you choose to submit for analysis, plus calories, macros, water, weight, and fasting entries.
• Profile data — the height, weight, age, sex, and activity level you enter to calculate your calorie plan.
• Apple Health data — only if you enable sync: we read burned calories and write your weight entries. Health data is never used for advertising and never sold.

How photos are processed

When you scan a meal or your pantry, the photo is sent securely to our backend and to an AI vision provider to identify the food. Photos are used solely to produce your scan result.

What we don't do

• We do not sell your personal data.
• We do not show third-party ads inside the app.
• We do not use your health data for marketing.

Where your data lives

Your data is stored with Supabase (our database provider) and protected by row-level security — your records are readable only by your account. Subscriptions are processed by Apple and RevenueCat; we never see your payment details.

Deleting your data

You can delete your account and all associated data from the You tab inside the app, or by emailing support@leanlens.fit. Deletion is permanent.
